In a candid conversation with Us Weekly, the beloved star of Wedding Crashers, Jane Seymour, shared her heartfelt thoughts about her blossoming romance with David Green. At 67 years old, Jane is thrilled to have found love again with the 70-year-old David, proving that age is just a number when it comes to matters of the heart.
A Match Made in Heaven
When asked about her relationship with David, Jane couldn’t help but gush. “It’s truly incredible,” she said. “Many women my age don’t have the opportunity to find love again, and if they do, it’s often with someone much younger. That kind of relationship can sometimes feel uneven. But with David, it’s different. We’re equals, and that makes all the difference in the world.”
A Journey Through Love and Loss
Jane’s journey to finding love with David has been a long one. After four marriages — to Michael Attenborough, Geoffrey Planer, David Flynn, and James Keach — Jane admits she’s grateful to have finally found her soulmate. “It’s such a blessing to have found someone who understands me on such a deep level,” she explained. “David and I have known each other for 40 years, and now, after everything we’ve been through, we’ve found each other again. It’s like fate has given us a second chance at happiness.”

Despite her joy, Jane remains pragmatic about marriage. “At this point in my life, I don’t think I’ll be tying the knot again,” she joked. “Knots haven’t exactly worked out for me in the past. But I’m keeping my heart open and just enjoying every moment with David. Life is too short not to savor the little things.”
A Friendship Turned Romance
Although Jane and David have known each other for decades, their romance didn’t begin until after Jane finalized her divorce from James Keach a couple of years ago. “We were friends first,” she recalled with a smile. “But one day, over lunch, something clicked. We both realized that we were free from our past relationships, and suddenly, it felt like the perfect time to explore something new.”
For Jane, David’s sense of humor and shared cultural background were key factors in their connection. “Dating another Brit in America is such a gift,” she said. “We have the same sense of humor, the same cultural references, and even shared friends. It’s like we’ve picked up right where we left off, but now, we’re writing a new chapter together.”

Jane’s story is a testament to the idea that love can bloom at any stage of life. For her, finding happiness with David is more than just a second chance—it’s a celebration of life, friendship, and the enduring power of love.
