James recently opened up about his ongoing relationship with his Titanic stars at the Alita: Battle Angel premiere in Los Angeles on February 5, 2019. He revealed that Kate Winslet, who worked on Avatar 2 and Avatar 3, is someone he stays in regular contact with. “Kate worked on Avatar 2 and 3, and I think I just emailed with her a couple days ago,” he told Us Weekly. When it comes to Leonardo DiCaprio, their connection revolves around environmental activism. “Leo and I collide mostly in the environmental circles because he’s doing a lot of good work around climate change and the environment and sustainability,” James explained. Although they haven’t collaborated directly, their paths cross frequently in that world.
