Let’s talk about something serious for a moment. Comedian Tom Arnold recently opened up about his split from his wife, Ashley Groussman, after more than nine years of marriage. Now, I know what you're thinking—divorce is never easy, right? But Tom, at 59 years old, sat down exclusively with Closer Weekly to share his thoughts, and guess what? He has no regrets. None. Zero. Zilch.

Here's the thing: Tom’s mindset is refreshing. He’s not dwelling on the past or pointing fingers. Instead, he’s focusing on the beautiful things they built together—his two incredible kids, son Jax, 5, and daughter Quinn, 3. In his own words, "I have my children because of my wife." And that’s powerful. Tom is determined to keep their family unit strong, even if it looks a little different now. He explained to his kids, "Mom’s going to have a new place that’s going to be cool, and we’re going to sell this place and you guys can pick a new place, so we’ll have two places." Talk about teamwork!

Tom Arnold’s Perspective on the Split

Tom said the decision to part ways was "a long time coming." But here’s the kicker—he doesn’t blame anyone. He’s not playing the blame game or trying to make anyone look bad. Instead, he’s reflecting on the relationship with gratitude. "I kept saying [to Ashley], ‘You’ve been amazing. There doesn’t have to be a reason. There doesn’t have to be a bad guy. We have these children,'" he told Closer.

A Brighter Future Ahead

Now, Tom is looking forward, not backward. He’s optimistic about the future and believes things will only get better. "My kids and I have a whole, wonderful life together," he said. "I’m sure things will be better now. It’s a learning process. My kids are amazing. They’re smarter and better than me or my wife. When it all calms down, everything’s going to be fine." That’s the kind of mindset we can all learn from, right?
