At a recent press event in Los Angeles, the star of Footloose made it clear that there’s no easy answer.
“There is no secret,” the 60-year-old told Fox News during the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour. “In fact, I’ve had a few one-liners ready for that question, but I decided against using them. Why? Because the last thing I want to do is reduce 30 years of partnership into some pithy quote. That’s just not respectful to the journey we’ve been on.”

The Dance of Life: How They Keep It Fun
Now, if we’re allowed to guess what’s behind this love story, it might have something to do with cutting loose and having a blast. In a previous chat with Closer Weekly, Bacon revealed that dancing is a big part of their relationship. “We love to dance, and when it’s just the two of us at home, we can dance all night. It’s like our own private party,” he shared during a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Q&A with Kyra, 53, in New York City.

But when they step out for a night on the town, things get a little more complicated. “If we go out dancing, the DJ always puts on Footloose, and suddenly, I’m surrounded by a circle of people clapping in unison, expecting me to bust out some moves like a trained seal. So yeah, I tend to avoid that,” Kevin confessed. Guess we’ll have to keep dreaming about a real-life reenactment of those iconic dance scenes from the movie.
