Candace Cameron Bure Spills The Tea: The Olsen Twins Won't Be Returning To 'Fuller House'

Well, folks, it looks like the Tanner household won’t be getting a couple of its most iconic residents back anytime soon. Candace Cameron Bure recently dropped some major news about the future of Fuller House, and it involves none other than the Olsen Twins. If you're a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's character Michelle Tanner, you might want to grab a tissue because this is a bittersweet moment.

At the 2019 Movieguide Awards in Hollywood on February 8, the 42-year-old actress pulled no punches when she addressed the elephant in the room—or should I say, the missing twins in the Tanner family. Speaking to Us Weekly and other reporters at the event, Candace didn’t mince words. “You heard it from me first: They will never come back!” she exclaimed. “They are never coming back on the show! They don’t want to be on the show. The answer’s no!” If that doesn’t make it crystal clear, then I don’t know what does.

The Secret to a Happy Marriage, According to Candace

When asked about the secret to her long and happy marriage, Candace shared some pearls of wisdom. “I always say, put your spouse on a pedestal,” she revealed to Us Weekly. “And in return, you’re hoping, which my husband does, we have the same respect for one another… and some days neither of us deserve it, but we do it because we honor one another and respect each other.” She added with a chuckle, “We’re apart a lot because I travel a lot, that’s the secret! Because, you know, being away from each other makes the heart grow fonder.”
