In a candid interview, Trisha spilled the beans on how they keep the spark alive, even in the demanding world of showbiz.
At 54, Trisha is as radiant as ever, and her love story with Garth is one that fans adore. Speaking to Us Weekly during the release of her latest album, Let’s Be Frank, she shared, “We do date nights, but honestly, we are apart maybe five days a year. We've made a conscious effort since getting married to stay together, whether it's touring or just hanging out. Even if you don’t see him, he’s always nearby, either in the hotel or around.”

Why Trisha and Garth Are So Inseparable
Trisha, the author of Trisha’s Table, revealed the reason behind their unbreakable bond. “We’re not always glued together, but we’ve both been married before, and we decided we don’t want to be apart. So, we made it a priority to ensure that staying together is our top focus, and we’ve managed to stick to it,” she explained. Trisha’s past marriages to Christopher Latham (1987-1991) and Robert Reynolds (1994-1999), along with Garth’s previous marriage to Sandy Mahl (1986-2001), taught them the importance of prioritizing their relationship.
Learning to Argue Well in Marriage
Even the happiest of couples have disagreements, and Trisha and Garth are no exception. But they’ve mastered the art of arguing in a way that strengthens their relationship rather than tearing it apart. “You have to learn how to argue well,” Trisha admitted. She explained that she can get “real hotheaded quick” during a disagreement, while Garth remains “more calm” and “not really an arguer.” This balance helps them navigate conflicts with grace and understanding.

For Trisha, the key to her enduring love with Garth lies in the strong friendship they’ve built over the years. “I’m madly in love with him,” she told Closer Weekly in late January. “We were such good friends for such a long time before we married, so I think at the end of the day, it’s the friendship and the respect that sustains us.”
