Hey, hey, hey! Remember Monica Geller and Phoebe Buffay? Well, they're back together again, and it's everything we hoped for. Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow surprised fans by reuniting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on January 29. It was a mini Friends reunion that had everyone buzzing. Courteney, now 54, appeared on the daytime show to promote her new Facebook Watch series, 9 Months. But Ellen, the ever-playful host, had a delightful twist in store for her iconic guest.

During the show, Ellen gently nudged Courteney to join Instagram. The host suggested they take a photo together in a Central Perk coffee house set, recreated with all the charm of the original. As they prepared for the shot, Ellen casually mentioned, “I wish Lisa Kudrow was here because that would be fun.” Little did they know, Lisa, 55, was about to make a dramatic entrance, walking onto the stage right then and there.

When Lisa appeared, Courteney couldn't contain her excitement, exclaiming, “You’re here! This is a shock!” As they sat together on Central Perk's legendary orange velvet couch, Ellen quipped, “This is a good first shot.” Courteney playfully replied, “This is my first Instagram post? It’s all downhill from here.”
The banter continued as Ellen turned to Lisa, saying, “I wish you had your guitar here. That would be fun.” Lisa, staying true to her character, joked, “Wouldn’t it? But who would play it?” And the Friends references didn’t stop there. Courteney thanked Lisa for coming, to which Lisa cleverly replied, “Oh, I wanted to be there for you. Get it?”

True to her word, Courteney later created an Instagram account (@courteneycoxofficial — give her a follow!) and shared the Friends reunion photo with Lisa and Ellen as her first post. She captioned it, “Hello, Instagram! I’m here with a little help from my friends.” Lisa also posted the same picture, writing, “Welcome to Instagram, Courteney,” and Ellen captioned her version, “Just a couple of Friends hanging out on the sofa.”
