When asked about Angelina, who starred in "Maleficent" and is raising her six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, Jon told Closer Weekly, “Well, she’s a good mom, I’ll tell you that. She’s very loving to the kids, always there for them, no matter how busy her life gets. She doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to being involved in their lives and guiding them every step of the way. I couldn’t be prouder of her.”

Jon, known for his iconic role in "Midnight Cowboy," has been making the most of the time he gets to spend with his grandkids—Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10. He shared what it’s like being around them and how much he cherishes these moments. “Everybody’s doing great, yes. They’re growing up so fast,” Jon said. “You know, life is short. It’s something people don’t fully grasp until it’s too late.”

Jon continued by offering some wisdom about life and its fleeting nature. “When you’re young, all you want is to grow up, to be 18. Enjoy every moment while you have it, and use it to make a difference in the world.”

He added, “Take care of yourself, stay healthy, and surround yourself with positivity. Help your parents, help your neighbors, help anyone who needs it. Life is about caring for others, and if you do that, you’ll find happiness. People who live with that mindset are genuinely content.”

Jon and Angelina had a strained relationship between 2002 and 2007 after Jon made some controversial comments about his daughter having "mental problems." Thankfully, they’ve patched things up, and it’s clear they’ve both worked hard to rebuild their bond.
