Over three seasons of working alongside J.Lo, Derek has developed a strong bond with her, and it shows in how genuinely thrilled he is for her happiness.
“Oh, I’m super excited! We sent them a heartfelt voice message, almost like a mini video, congratulating them,” the 33-year-old shared exclusively with Closer Weekly. “And to be honest, I was thrilled to be on the show with Jen. I’m just so happy for them. Beyond ecstatic. It’s like a fairytale come true for both of them!”

Derek’s excitement doesn’t stop with just J.Lo and A-Rod. He also extends his joy to their blended family of four children. “I’m also so happy for all the kids, too,” Derek said. “They are a big, loving family. It’s about giving back and making an impact, no matter how small.”
