Wow, talk about having a famous role model in the family! Donny Osmond, the legendary entertainer, has certainly left his mark on the world—and now it seems his grandson Daxton is taking notice. Recently, Daxton decided to make his grandpa the star of his school project, and Donny couldn’t be prouder.
Donny Shares Heartwarming Moment With His Grandson
On Tuesday, April 30, the 61-year-old singer took to Twitter to share just how touched he was by Daxton’s choice of subject for an autobiography presentation. "Look who my darling #grandson chose for the subject of his autobiography presentation," Donny wrote, clearly beaming with pride. "And the best part of all—he put this presentation together all by himself!" Donny added that he feels incredibly blessed to have such amazing grandchildren. "There’s no doubt about it—#Grandkids really do make life grand!" he gushed. In the accompanying photo, we see Daxton proudly holding up his project with a big smile, clearly as proud of his grandpa as Donny is of him.

More Love on Instagram
Donny didn’t stop at Twitter. He also took to Instagram to express even more admiration for his young grandson. “I sure love this kid. Daxton found and selected the pictures for his presentation without any help from anyone,” he said. “It brings a huge smile to my face seeing which pictures he chose.”A Moment of Pride
Donny went on to share a particularly memorable moment from the presentation. “After asking his classmates to raise their hands if they had seen The Masked Singer, he excitedly reported, ‘My grandpa was the Peacock!’” Donny wrote. It’s clear that Daxton is just as proud of his famous grandpa as Donny is of him. “Daxton had some memorabilia from my fan club back in the ‘70s that his dad, Brandon, found. The one item that he really wanted to show his class was a membership card to the fan club. He thought that was pretty cool. And he wanted to make absolutely sure that everyone knew I was Captain Shang from Mulan,” Donny added.View this post on InstagramI have the greatest fans in the world. Interacting with and meeting each of you is a great privilege. Your kindness and generosity inspire me, and I wish I could personally thank you for every gift I receive. 🙏🏼 Today I want to share a picture of a gift I recently received along with a thoughtful letter from two sisters. Here are a few lines of that letter: "A few weeks ago Julia and I went on a road trip and discovered an old refurbished barn which sold various wares. We immediately saw this peacock and thought of you Donny! Our family has so enjoyed watching you on @maskedsingerfox and knew in our hearts you would love this. Thank you so much for all you have shared with the world. We hope this peacock will help bring back those wonderful times you had as the Masked #Peacock." Thank you for the thoughtful gift, Julia and Hazelann. It's a perfect touch to my dressing room at @flamingovegas. 😊
